The website at connector.getcoveredamerica.org (the “Site”) is operated by Young Invincibles. By accessing or using the Site, you (the “User”) signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy & Terms of Use (this “Agreement”).
Young Invincibles reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of this Agreement at any time without further notice. If we do so, we will post the changes on this page and will indicate the date these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy & Terms of Use. If you do not agree to abide by these or any future terms, do not use or access (or continue to use or access) the Site. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Site to determine if there have been changes to this Agreement and to review such changes.
Young Invincibles values your privacy, and this Privacy Policy & Terms of Use reflects our strong commitment to respecting any information you choose to share with us. To fulfill this commitment, Young Invincibles agrees to exercise reasonable precautions to maintain the confidentiality of information provided by you in connection with accessing and using the Site. Young Invincibles does not collect personal information collected through the Site or share such personal information with any third parties except in the circumstances described in this Agreement.
1. Collection and Use of Personal Information
Young Invincibles may collect certain personal information from you if you choose to give it to us through the Site. Information that you may choose to give us includes your name, address, email address, phone number, credit card information, and other information about your interests and preferences. We may also obtain information from outside sources and add it to or combine it with the information we collect through the Site.
We use this information to operate the Site, to send you news and information about Young Invincibles and the issues that we work on, to acknowledge those who provide support for Young Invincibles, and for other purposes in support of our mission. We work closely with allied and like-minded organizations. To further the mission of Young Invincibles, we may make information we collect through the Site available to these allied and like-minded organizations, unless you have requested that we do not. You may request that your information not be shared with third parties by sending a message to members@younginvincibles.org.
We may share your information with third-party vendors as necessary to carry out Young Invincibles’ activities. Such vendors will be contractually prohibited from using or sharing your personal information for any other purpose.
In addition to your personal information, Young Invincibles also collects Web server traffic pattern information generated by your use of the Site. General traffic, site usage, and length-of-stay information may be collected and stored in log files. This type of information is shared externally only on an aggregated basis.
By using and submitting information through the Site or otherwise sharing information with Young Invincibles, you consent to Young Invincibles’ processing of your personal information in a manner consistent with this Agreement.
2. Additional Disclosure to Protect People or Property or As Required by Law.
In addition to the disclosures otherwise permitted by this Agreement, Young Invincibles may disclose personal information if we have a good-faith belief that doing so is required by a subpoena or other judicial or administrative order or otherwise required by law. Additionally, we may disclose personal information where we, in good faith, deem it appropriate or necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) the rights or property of Young Invincibles, any individual, or the general public; maintain and protect the security and integrity of our services or infrastructure; protect ourselves and our services from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses; investigate and defend ourselves against third-party claims or allegations; or assist government enforcement agencies.
3. Cookies
Users should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected on the Site through the use of “cookies.” Cookies are small text files stored as text on a computer hard drive. Web sites can use cookies to recognize repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor’s ongoing access to and use of the site, and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements. If a user does not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows the visitor to deny or accept the cookie feature. We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve the Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit these sites, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personal information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit a site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to our sites by disabling cookies on your browser.
4. User Content & Feedback
You are solely responsible for all content or feedback (including comments, text, photos, videos, graphics, and other content) that you upload or post on the Site or otherwise share with Young Invincibles (hereafter, “User Content”). You may not post, transmit, or share content that you did not create or that you do not have permission to share. By posting content on the Site, you promise that you own any such content or that you have obtained the necessary permission for its use.
You retain full ownership of all User Content that you share with Young Invincibles. However, when you share User Content with Young Invincibles, you are granting to Young Invincibles an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully-paid, royalty-free, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part), and distribute such User Content. Without limitation, this license you grant to Young Invincibles shall include the right to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, any User Content and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing, unless limitations on this license are set forth at the time you share the User Content or are displayed on the User Content itself.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant the licenses granted in this section, and that your User Content, and your provision thereof through and in connection with Young Invincibles, are complete and accurate, and are not fraudulent, tortious or otherwise in violation of any applicable law or any right of any third party. You further irrevocably waive any “moral rights” or other rights with respect to attribution of authorship with respect to User Content that you may have under any applicable law or under any legal theory.
You agree not to submit any User Content that:
- Contains falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage Young Invincibles or any third party;
- Is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, a personal attack, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate;
- Supports or opposes any candidate for public office or that might otherwise constitute intervention in a campaign for public office under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code;
- Is copyrighted, protected by trade secret, or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant Young Invincibles the license described above; or
- Constitutes an advertisement or solicitation of business.
You agree to comply with all laws regarding online conduct and the transmission of content via the Internet that may apply to you wherever you are, including all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United States or the country in which you reside.
Young Invincibles may (but does not have any obligation to) review all User Content. Young Invincibles reserves the right (but does not have the obligation) to delete User Content, without notice and for any reason. The exercise of this right with regard to some User Content shall not, in any way, be deemed to indicate Young Invincibles’ responsibility or liability for other User Content. Unless otherwise agreed by Young Invincibles, we may disclose any User Content and the circumstances surrounding its transmission to anyone for any reason or purpose.
5. Reporting Violations
Anyone who believes User Content or other information has been posted to the Site in violation of this Privacy Policy & Terms of Use, including any owner of a copyrighted work who believes, in good faith, that the work has been reproduced on the Site without authorization in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, is encouraged to report the violation, preferably with information supporting the claim, to members@younginvincibles.org.
6. Links and Third-Party Materials / Disclaimers
Certain functionality of the Site may grant you access to certain materials posted on the Site or made available to you by third parties, including User Content (“Third Party Materials”), or allow for the routing or transmission of such Third Party Materials, including via links. By using such functionality, you are directing us to access, route and transmit to you the applicable Third Party Materials.
We neither control nor endorse, nor are we responsible for, any Third Party Materials, including the accuracy, integrity, quality, legality, usefulness or safety of Third Party Materials, or any views or opinions expressed therein or any intellectual property rights therein. Certain Third Party Materials may, among other things, be inaccurate, misleading or deceptive. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to be a representation or warranty by Young Invincibles with respect to any Third Party Materials. We have no obligation to monitor Third Party Materials, and we may block or disable access to any Third Party Materials (in whole or part) through the Site at any time. In addition, the availability of any Third Party Materials through the Site does not imply our endorsement of, or our affiliation with, any provider of such Third Party Materials, nor does such availability create any legal relationship between you, us and/or any such provider.
The Site is made available strictly on an “as-is” basis. Young Invincibles does not make any warranties, express or implied, including without limitation those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the Site or any information, User Content, or goods that may be available through the Site. Although we intend to take reasonable steps to prevent the introduction of viruses, worms, “Trojan horses” or other destructive materials, we do not guarantee or warrant that the Site or any User Content or information that may be downloaded from the Site do not contain such destructive features. We are not liable for any damages or harm attributable to such User Content or information. If you rely on Site or any User Content or information made available through the Site, you do so solely at your own risk.
Young Invincibles does not and cannot review all material posted by users, and Young Invincibles is not responsible for the content of any of these materials. Young Invincibles reserves the right to delete any content for any or no reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, the deletion of material posted in violation of these Terms of Use that come to or that is brought to the attention of Young Invincibles.
Young Invincibles is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content on any other web sites. Linked sites may collect personal information from you when you link to their site, and such collecting of information is not subject to the control of Young Invincibles. To ensure protection of your privacy, always review the privacy policies of the sites you may visit by linking from the Site.
7. Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. We never collect or maintain information at the Site from persons we know to be under age 13, and no part of our Site is designed to attract anyone under age 13. Please do not communicate with or contact us if you are under age 13.
Any person who provides personal information through the Site represents to us that he or she is 13 years of age or older. If Young Invincibles learns that personal information has been collected from a user under 13 years of age on or through this site, then we will take the appropriate steps to cause this information to be deleted.
8. Storage and Retention of Personal Information
Your information is stored and processed on servers in the United States. Users in the European Union should be aware that their data will be transferred to the United States and that the European Commission has not found United States law to adequately protect the rights of data subjects. Young Invincibles is operated and controlled from the United States, does not offer goods or services outside of the United States, and does not intentionally monitor the behavior of any person outside of the United States.
Young Invincibles retains the personal information collected from users of the Site unless and until a user asks us to delete their information by sending a message to members@younginvincibles.org.
9. Zoom Customer Data Retention
The following Zoom customer data is stored in our system, only while the Connector is connected to Zoom and authorized:
- Zoom Account ID
- Zoom User ID
- Zoom API Access Token
- Zoom API Refresh Token
This data is deleted from our system when a user chooses to disconnect from Zoom through their Connector account, or if they deauthorize the Connector through their Zoom account. When deauthorizing the Connector from their Zoom account, users may select a data retention preference with the option to allow the Connector to retain their user information. In all cases we delete the user data from our system, regardless of this preference.
10. Google Customer Data Retention
The following Google customer data is stored in our system, only while the Connector is connected to Google and authorized:
- Google API Access Token
- Google API Refresh Token
This data is only used for the following purposes:
- To retreive and display the name of the user's Primary Google Calendar only, for the sole purpose of verifying the user has successfully authorized the Connector app to read/write data on the user's primary Google calendar.
- To create calendar events on the user's primary Google calendar.
- To delete only calendar events that the Connector has first created on the user's primary Google calendar
This data is deleted from our system when a user chooses to disconnect from Google through their Connector account. When a user disconnects from Google through their Connector account, the Connector app is also deauthorized in the user's Google account.
